Biogas Desulfurizer is designed to purify biogas by eliminating sulphur, dust and water so that powered devices can use clean biogas. The major component of the desulphurizer is ferric oxide (Fe2O3). Overtime, the Fe2O3 will get ineffective, giving off a bad smell when using the biogas, and so must be changed accordingly. As for dry desulfurization, it is a simple and cost-efficient approach that is suitable for biogas with little biogas and low H2S concentration. The basic principle of desulfurizing biogas is to oxidize H2S to sulfur or sulfur oxide with O2, which is referred to as dry oxidation.
